"Our aerodynamic development program with Lola was a primary reason for our championship success and overall wins that followed. The Lola-MG LMP675 car had been developed primarily for Le Mans, and we needed to optimize it for a higher downforce configuration required by the circuits on the American Le Mans schedule. Working closely with our engineering staff, Lola developed a priority list and

windtunnel program which resulted in a cost-effective package that was much more optimized for our needs in the USA. Most impressive was the correlation of the figures generated by the windtunnel to the results on the track. The translation was spot-on and all of the components fit perfectly."
